Beginner Drawing Classes
Drawing is fun, rewarding and the basis of creating a beautiful design regardless of the artistic medium you choose. We offer a variety of beginner drawing classes and workshops. Whether you wish to draw with graphite pencils, pastels, charcoal, markers, colored pencils or even crayons.... we have an option for you.

Back to the Basics: Level One Beginner
In this level, we teach fundamental drawing techniques in the selected medium : graphite pencils, colored pencils, soft pastels or markers.
Students will learn how to express themselves in a unique and individual way with personal color choices and basic design. Your drawings will be as unique and diverse as you.
We help you to quickly and easily learn this unique art medium. Our instructors will help you gain confidence in applying what you learn in class at home and incorporating art into your life.
The student is guided step-by-step through the process with the teacher demonstrating and helping each step of the way.
Classes are typically 2.5-3 hours long. We recommend this class for ages 13 and up. Children ages 10 and older may also attend if they feel comfortable.
Expanding the Basics: Level Two Beginner
In this level, we focus on building a solid foundation of the fundamentals of drawing.
This level expands past the basic techniques taught in the Back to the Basics classes. We use the fundamental methods and refine them to allow you to naturally move up in your creative journey with ease and grace.
This class level is geared to teach the student how to make their own choices and changes to the reference drawing or photograph to make it unique.
We also introduce the student to new effects and tools.
Students will learn how to express unique and individual creativity with the support of an instructor who guides them on their journey in discovering their inner artist.
Classes are typically 3-4 hours per session. We often expand these classes into multiple sessions depending on the project we are working on.
We recommend this level for teens and adults 13 or older who demonstrate knowledge of the fundamentals and show an interest in growing their artistic skills.
